Overview
MT820 series high-voltage solid-state soft starter (hereinafter referred to as soft starter) uses high-performance thyristors and professional insulation materials combined with modern power electronic control technology, and is professionally designed and manufactured. It realizes motor soft start, soft stop, energy saving and various protection functions, and is specially used for start and stop devices with constant speed AC motors as operating power. It has the characteristics of small starting current, smooth starting, and can extend the service life of the motor and starting equipment. Widely used in various types of centrifuges, fans, pumps, conveyor belts, drag systems and other mechanical equipment.
Main features of the product
It adopts solid-state high-voltage and high-power components, with low heat generation and no noise; fiber optic trigger, high and low voltage isolation.
Provides multiple protection functions such as overcurrent, overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, phase failure, current imbalance, mis-sequence, zero-sequence, gate overtemperature, too frequent starts, and too long starting time.

Cabinet characteristics
The standard KYN28-12 cabinet is completely metal armored and has an assembled structure. The cabinet is made of imported high-quality aluminum-zinc coated thin steel plates. It is processed by CNC and adopts advanced multiple folding processes. It is connected with rivet nuts and high-strength bolts to achieve high precision. , Anti-corrosion, light weight, high strength, strong versatility and other characteristics:
·Comply with GB3906, IEC298 standards, components made of aluminum-zinc steel plates are bolted and the shell is coated with aluminum-zinc with a thickness of not less than 2mm. The cabinet panel and rear sealing plate are made of cold-rolled steel plates of not less than 2.5mm, and are made of epoxy resin powder Electrostatic spraying.

Selection considerations
·Fully understand the characteristics and usage of the load:
·The specifications of the soft starter should always be greater than the current value (rated operating current) of the motor. If there is a deviation from the rated value, a soft starter with a larger specification must be selected:
·Installation altitude: no more than 1000m, above 1000m, derating is required.

Squirrel cage asynchronous motors are widely used in power systems, machinery manufacturing, cement production, metallurgy, mining, oil production, chemical industry, water treatment and other industries. Usage environment
·The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 1000m; when it exceeds 1000m, the capacity should be reduced:
·The ambient temperature is -10~40℃. It must be derated when used above 40℃. The current will be reduced by 2% for every 1℃ it exceeds.
·Environmental humidity ≤95% RH, no water condensation;
·Indoors without corrosive gases that damage metal and insulating materials;
·No direct sunlight, dust, flammable gas, oil mist, dripping water or salt, etc.;
·Indoor installation, vertical installation.
